An enthusiastic group of 180 Project LEAD graduates met for breakfast Sunday morning to reunite with old friends, meet new ones and talk about the work they are doing in research and quality care.  Not only are there over 1300 graduates of NBCCF’s premier science training program, but they constitute nearly 30% of conference attendees.  A report of this year’s activities included recognition of over 100 new graduates, the launching of the Project LEAD Institute last August, the emphasis on continuing education, the revision of Quality Care Project LEAD and the new upgrades to LEADgradsOnline.  The new Profiles section of the LEADgradsOnline website, accessible at the Programs table in the Exhibit Hall, is being populated by grads here at the conference – and soon by those at home.  Advocates will then be able to search for grads with similar interests, grads who have done peer review, and grads who can mentor them in their work.  The power and work of Project LEAD grads is on the move!!
